Q. How do I register for Dhaka Lit Fest?

A: Go to register page and follow the directions.

Q. Do I have to print out my ticket?

A: No, let’s save trees. As long as the QR code is visible, we can scan on electronic devices like a mobile phone or tablet.

Q. How do I become a DLF volunteer?

A: Send your CV to [email protected] with “I’d like to volunteer!” in the subject line

Q. How can I participate as a speaker at DLF?

The programme for 2018 is now finalized, but please email us at [email protected] and tell us about your work to be part of future editions of the festival. Do keep in mind that there is a great deal of interest to participate in Dhaka Lit Fest, and that we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Q. How do I find the venue?

A: The festival is held on the grounds of Bangla Academy, on the Dhaka University campus. You can get directions from Google Maps here: https://goo.gl/maps/PCEFXQo7Dq22

Q. I haven’t registered, can I come to the festival?

A: Please register, it’s easy and only takes a minute! You can register at any time before or during the festival, but we suggest registering immediately in order to receive updates about the program.

Q. I’ve registered, but have not received my e-ticket. What do I do?

A: First thing, check your spam. If the ticket isn’t there, try clicking ‘Resend ticket’ at the bottom of the registration page, and enter your phone number. If this does not work, try registering again with an alternate email address. If you still have problems, email [email protected] with the subject “I’m having problems registering!”

Q. How do I register my child for DLF?

A: Children below 18 years of age may be registered under their parents’ email address and phone number.

Q. How do I see the programme schedule?

A: The programme schedule will be viewable at Programme page shortly.

Q. How will I know about changes to the programme?

A: With numerous events over three days, there are prone to be a few last-minute adjustments to the schedule. Changes to the programme before the festival starts will be updated on dhakalitfest.com. Any changes during the festival will be put up at various points around the festival grounds.

Q.I’m a member of the Press. How do I get press accreditation to cover the festival?

A: If you present your press ID card at the Welcome Booth at the festival gates, you will be provided a press pass. Send an email to [email protected] with your details if you’d like to preregister, or for any other information. A pre-event press conference will take place on November 3, 2018 at 11.30am at Bangla Academy.

Q. Will there be any arrangements for the bags to be kept outside the area/at the gates which are bigger than 5"x7" in dimension?

A: No but there will be beautiful Dhaka Lit Fest bags on sale in the venue, which are reasonably priced. Booksellers like Bookworm and publishers at the venue will give you their bags if you buy books from them.

Q. Can I get my DLF books signed by the authors?

A: There will be book signings arranged at the DLF bookstore. Watch out for announcements!
