This year at DLF 2019 we are proud to be partnering with CSD-ULAB – The Centre for Sustainable Development, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and BPCL – Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited, in our endeavour to be more environment-friendly.
With the help of CSD-ULAB, we are advising all our stall holders to reduce the use of plastic and encouraging them to replace it with biodegradable materials such as betel-nut and paper.
BPCL is helping us to ensure the segregation of trash into biodegradables and non biodegradables, which will then be sent for recycling. They will also remove all plastic bottles at the end of each day for the purpose of recycling them in their labs.
We are also replacing plastic ID cards at the festival with recycled paper on a jute string, as well as encouraging all our visitors to bring their own water bottles with them.
We use the collective data from registration to learn about the demographic that attends the festival. This will help us organise future festivals better. We use your information carefully and privately and it is not sold to any third party, so you can rest assured that your information will be kept confidential.
